I’m very afraid to start Prozac. My primary gave it to me because I’m battling PTSD, and severe panic attacks and depression. I lost my mom and I’m just looking for something to help. I just want to see how others feel on Prozac.
How do you feel on Prozac?

First off and from my experience never start a medication feeling scared as your anxiety levels will rise and that will only make things worse for you.
I am a 53 y/o man, have taken many meds and one of them was Prozac (fluoxetine) 20mgs..
I will start by saying that everyone reacts differently to medications. In my case I did not experience any possible side effects, and it was very helpful and I felt fine.
For Prozac to fully reach its full therapeutic effect it may take 4 to 6 and sometimes 8 weeks, but once it does one feels relieved, from anxiety, depression, panic attacks, OCD, and other ailments.
I suggest you give it a shot and if it does not work for you keep searching for an antidepressant that does work for you, but Prozac is quite good, but remember everyone reacts differently to meds.
Best regards, masso
