... just to continue on from Kaismama's response... you could feel the effects from the alcohol are increased, and you could feel very hungover/ill the next day... i've done it in the past (stupidly) and i felt very unwell

The side effects can be amplified by the alcohol. It is not wise to mix pain medications with alcohol.
