I Would Like The Answer to My Question... Can Klonopin And Buspirone Be Taken Together
Hi, I have taken Buspar or Buspirone steady since 2006, 12 years and took it 5mg 3 times a day. Now recently I take 30mg a day in divided doses. 5-10-10-5 am noon supper bedtime to treat my new depression symptoms. I also have been on the generic clonazepam for Klonopin since 2013 .25mg twice a day. Buspar works on serotonin, Klonopin works on GABA receptors. My doctor said they are safe to take together. I have had no problems. Buspar is easier to stop if it does not work for you, but it needs time to build in your system. I have not had side effects from either of these, but everyone is different. You could give it a try. Hope you feel better.
Thank you
Thanks you for your comment. I didn't realize my question had been answered. I will talk to my doctor, thanks again.
