If you want maximum effect, crush it up and stick it in your butt. Just don't go poop for 30 minutes or it wont work. If you get some kind of adhesive like elmers glue and mix it up with the pill into a paste it will be easier to insert into the rectum. That's how i take all my pills including my Flintstones vitamins. 100% absorption.
Ok so don't actually do that. I realize there's a generation of idiots and while i'm preventing natural selection, i don't want anyone's blood (or poo) on my hands so don't put it in your butt. Just crush it and let it dissolve under your tongue crush it up and put it in applesauce. I just chew mine up in my mouth if i'm in the middle of a panic attack and to the person above who said, "wElL Y nOt JUsT CaLl DuH FaRMaSiST" maybe they didn't want to and just maybe someone else has the same question and could type it into google and this pops right up.
oh yes, you can chew xanax, I don't think I have ever swallowed them. I want a faser effect. All you had to do was ask your doc. or call your pharmacy! gezzz
Sure you can, they will also take effect quicker. I crush mine and let them dissolve under my tongue when having a panic attack. Hope this helps.
cut it in half and chug it with water or drop pill in 8oz or more glass of water and chug.
