I normally take my birth continue pill at 1:15 every day. My doctor just gave me a month sample of Mounjaro, and prescribed iron pills and Wellbutrin and wants me to start them all today. But when is the best time to take them all for best medication absorption and effectiveness?
When should I take medications?

If they make you sleepy take at night. If not can take at the appropriate same time every day
Hi, MediGal!
Mounjaro "It can be given with or without meals at any time of the day"
Wellbutrin "Take bupropion with food if the medication upsets your stomach. If you have trouble
falling asleep or staying asleep, do not take tablets too close to bedtime."
Iron "It is recommended to take iron supplements on an empty stomach, preferably 1-2 ours
before or after meals. This allows for better absorption of the iron.
Personally, I take almost all of my meds with dinner as that's the only time I eat a decent meal and it's easy to remember. Most medications are better absorbed with food. Wellbutrin (bupropion) does make me a little energized so I take that one in the morning.
Hope this helps!
Because the Mounjaro can make me queasy feeling and maybe a little sea sick, I used to take it before bedtime. Every one is different, so just see what works best for you.
