Moving up to 30 mg oxycodone for inoperable excruciating pain. My doctor prescribed Abilify to help me ease off 0.5mg lorazepam when start 30's. Is this true & is this the way to go when I have endogenous anxiety disorder?
What can substitute for lorazepam. Must be on reduction, then ending?

Abilify is an antipsychotic medication and it is very ineffective. Taking more Oxy is good and will help. Clonazepam is a good alternative to lorazepam and the doctor should not take you off it just because of an increase in Oxy. Lately Dr’s seem to want to prescribe bipolar and antipsychotic medication for pain treatment. My opinion is they don’t work or help with pain. In some cases they create problems. The DEA has scared the medical community and should get out of health care. Why Congress allows this to happen is poor management.
