I have a problem with the over production of mucous if I take refined sugar or artificial sweetners that make this excess flem/mucous . Many meds have inactive or active ingredients which may cause flem/mucous production. Here is what I am taking: Aspirin EC 81mg, Clopidogrel 75mg, Atorvastatin 80mg for heart also Finasteride 5mg. for bladder. I need to identify which are the culprits. These are all in tablet form as I can not handle gel capsules. The gel is at times an animal product which will produce mucous as do animal and dairy products which is the reason I am vegan in my food choices.
What mucous producing substances that may be in my prescription drugs?
