I think you may have been thinking about clonazepam.The names sound very similar to Diazepam(Valium) and can often be mistaken for Valium.The dosages for Clonazepam are 0.5mg,1mg,2mg,and I believe 5mg.Diazepam generic for (Valium)come in 2,5,10,and 20mg dosages both are typically used for people with seizures disorders and severe anxiety or panic attacks.Though Valium has a way bigger kick than Klonopin.Just be advised. I hope this information may have helped clear anything you might have thought differently.

I learn something new everyday, never knew valium came in 20mg? They do work well for spasms and they have a longer half life than many other benzo's.

arcanoidcyst... I tried to find diazepam (valium) in a higher dosage than 10mg. The only thing I found was Roche Pharma does have a 15mg extended release version. Do you know where I can find info on 20mg valium?

I'm sorry there is only 2mg,5mg,and 10mg.I thought there was a 20mg one.I guess not sorry about all that.

In my opinion klonopin has a much bigger kick than Valium as in perception, drowsiness, and ability to operate machinery- ias evidenced by it being used much more often than Valium for sleep disturbances.

diazepam is the generic name for Valium as Maso indicated. It is available in 2mg, 5mg and 10mg. Maybe you are thinking of a different benzodiazepine?

Valium brand name / drug name diazepam. It is the same drug.or benzodiazepine.

Valium and diazepam are the same drug and are in the same class of drugs called benzodiazepines such as klonopin Ativan and Xanax.
