I was taking an SSRI inhibitor years ago and was looking for what was the best option now withe the fewest side effects. I do see a psychiatrist this Friday recommended by my psychotherapist.
What is the best anti-depressant with the least side effects?

Hi cornercurio! Welcome to Drugs.com!
In addition to the previous posts, another good anti-depressant without a lot of side effects is Trazodone. Look in the search box above for "Trazodone". After you see the listings displayed, please scroll near the bottom of that page. There, you'll find a link to user's reviews. You'll also see comparisons with other drugs.
Good luck with your research! All the best!

Hi cornercurio,
Each anti-depressant works differently with each person same for side effects. I'm on Manerix an old drug but it works great for me. You will just have to try one and see.
Good luck and take care!
Hello cornercurio. The past ten years or so Wellbutrin seems to be one of the most popular of antidepressants. Side effects are relatively few and mild. It as you know, varies from one person to another, how the drug works, but all in all, I'd have to say Wellbutrin. Best of wishes along with good health to you, pledge
