Soma does not cause a false positive for morphine. I am tested regularly. It does not show up unless it’s specified in a lab test.
i dont know about other states but in louisiana it is a controlled substance ... because so many people were abusing it ... the made it by fda or the law or whoever makes that decision... soma is a controlled substance here... take care
lindagail is right too, alot of states have made it a controlled substance including the gret state of Louisiana.
Soma is a prescribed muscle relaxant . It is meant to be used short term (up to two or three weeks) to treat muscle spasms due to injury or other muscle problems. It is not a controlled substance.- It will test as false positive for morphine.-
Take care.-
Also be carefull, Soma's can be danderous because your heart ia a muscle. Also you can fall asleep very easy [like when your driving]. So don't take too many. And lindagail is right about people abusing them and they are very popular on the street. If you have a scrip you should not worry anyway.
Sorry I meant dangerous--and this drug is not subject to the controlled substance act--- I have never known maso to be wrong. Go to top of page where it says Drugs A to Z and look it up.
As of jan 11th 2012 soma is now a controlled substance.
