I am a 41-year-old male currently experiencing a major relapse in OCD and Depression. Because it was such a long wait to see a psychiatrist, my family doctor prescribed me Wellbutrin for the depression (feeling hopeless, and suicidal ideations). Today is two weeks since I started and I would like to know if what I am experiencing is normal. I have no appetite. No desire to eat food until later in the evening (I take the pill first thing in the morning). My hands shake. And I will have daily panic attacks where I am just frozen for a while with anxiety. I will have that these side effects seem to be getting less severe. Last week was much worse. From what I have read, this is normal, and I should stick with it, as it will take at least another two weeks to start seeing the full positive effects. I see my psychiatrist on Thursday and hope to get some answers because I just want to get back to work. I want my life back. I was thriving before this relapse
Wellbutrin side effects? Are these normal?

I am sorry you are experiencing such a bad time.
As you mention these two weeks side effects have been less severe which is positive.
Loss of appetite, tremors are common side effects as you are aware.
Now panic attacks, anxiety and any mood changes must had been reported to your Dr. as they can be more serious and would need the evaluation of your Dr..
Wellbutrin is a good antidepressant, I took it for some years and it did the job.
It may take 6 to 8 weeks for it to finally reach its full therapeutic effect so be patient, things will improve, it's just a matter of time, it may take for some people more time and for other less but eventually you will get your life back.
