No, some are active ingredient and some are just fillers. It's very chancy trying to titer down this way especially if it's the ER formulation!
"Swallow the extended-release capsule or tablet whole and do not crush, chew, break, or open it."
Have you gotten the advice of your prescribing physician? The only safe way to discontinue antidepressants is with a tapering dose schedule provided by your doctor.
Besides, who has the time or energy to poke around trying to count out miniscule amounts of what may or may not be the actual medication?
