Diovan (valsartan) is a prescription medicine that has been licensed to treat several conditions related to the heart and blood vessels. It is part of a class of drugs called angiotensin II receptor blockers, or ARBs for short.
Diovan tablets are available in several strengths, including: Diovan 40mg; Diovan 80mg; Diovan 160mg; Diovan 320mg. There is no hydrochlorthiazide in Diovan.
Dizziness is a common side effect of hydrochlorthiazide, you need to talk to the doc/pharmacist who prescribed the med, he/she may give you an alternate, be well & safe?
