Had the implanon inserted the 5th of December..Doctors orders were to use a backup barrier for the next 7 days after the insertion of the implanon; however my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex two days after the 7 days she order and we kept on having unprotected sex before the 7days. It's been about 3 weeks since then and I'm worried my chances of pregnancy are high. I just started to spot/bleed light red on the 24th; Light lower abdominal pain. During the last two weeks I've been peeing a lot, had minor nausea, I feel bloated. When I feel hungry and eat a normal healthy food; after 4 bites I feel full but I crave sweets; specially coke. Could I be pregnant or is it just the side effects of the implant?
I had unprotected sex 2days after I had the implanon fitted; could I get pregnant?

So did anyone update ? Like what happened I had got on nexplanon.. 2 days after my last day on my period .. and I had sex on day 6 .. my doctor didn’t tell me about the 7 days and what not I kind of searched it and found out later so .. could I get pregnant because I had sex a day earlier ?

Yes you could be pregnant. You'll need to test when it's far enough along to show.

So, you knew not to do it but you did anyway. Its a little late now to worry about pregnancy. It would be too early to have signs yet. The implanf might stop your period. I'd say do a pregnancy test. Do it first thing in the morning.

Yes: I did; unfortunately... I did have my normal period two weeks before the implanon was inserted; my other question is; is the bleeding/spotting from pregnancy or the implanon?

I did the same thing but i had an implanon before this current one... im worried... any ideas? I also got my previous implanon changed to my current one about a month before it was due to be changed.. so i should be fine .. right???

I had unprotected sex 4 days after the implant, what are the chances for that? I already feel the nausea from the side affects of nexplanon. You really do not feel the symptoms of pregnancy that quickly
I also should if waited 7days but when you live with your spouse it's kinda hard and I totally hate condoms
But the bleeding spots and abdominal pain is from the nexplanon

What ended up happening? I had sex 4 days after too, the condom ripped. I wasn't on my period when I got the nexaplanon, it's expected in a couple of days.:(
