The best person to ask is your pharmacist.
Can I take two shots of truly city 1.5 because my Dr increased my dose to 3.0
I was issued a 90 day supply of .75 mg pens. After 3 weeks I was given a new prescription for 1.5 mg pens. Is it safe and effective to either double up the weekly injections of the .75 or to inject bi-weekly, until the pens are used up?
I really don't want to waste more than two months worth of these pens (and lose a lot of money down the drain)
My Dr. needed to double my dosage from .75 to 1.5, and had me use the old pens first by “doubling up”.
Did your doctor ever tell you this was ok to do? I'm in same situation and don't want to waste my extra pens
Hello - new to this forum - did you ever find out the answer to this question? I ask because I just got changed to the 1.5 but I still have .75 pens left so was hoping to use them up...
I wouldn't see why not, but of course I'm not a doctor. Did you ask him/her about it? I wouldn't think it would do any harm, just use two different sites. but then again your doctor is the one to ask. Good luck.
