I started Trulicity 5 days ago. I am on the .75 dosage. I saw an immediate drop in my morning and evening reading the next day. However, my readings have continued to creep up over the last 4 days. I also take 1000 mg of Metformin daily.
Should I see immediate results with Trulicity or does it take a while to get into my system?

I felt great immediately, but was tired 4 days later. BS levels did not go down yet ... One week in.
My doc said that I wouldn't start to see my numbers go down until about the second or third week and damned if she wasn't right. It took about two and a half weeks before mine declined, but when they did it was a huge decrease and very fast. Now it's awesome. I went from. And A1C of 10.6 to 8.8 in 2 months! Stick with it, it will happen pretty soon!
The only side effect I have had is fatigue. Will that also get better?
It will when your body adapts to it. I had deep fatigue for about a week, wondering if this was a bad side effect that wouldn't go away. But it did and I have no symptoms at all now and I've been on it for about 5 months.
