I have a frequent cough and arthritic pain in my knees I took NyQuil for the coughing and now I need to know if I can take tramadol for the pain in my knees .
Can I take tramadol and NyQuil?

Yes this is a safe match just try and keep them apart a little due to Nyquill most of them have alcohol and can increase the level of Tramadol

Hello, you can take tramadol with nyquil, however they both may have the same dopey effect. It can slow your breathing down and even depress your pulse. Tramadol wasn't even considered a narcotic just a few years ago and its absolutely a mild narcotic, where you can take the nickel to help with your cough. I don't know how long you have taken the tramadol and if you are familiar with how you feel on it but usually its safe.

Hi, please take heed of The first response to your question, i just wanted to add that i have taken a similar cold/flu medicine, same ingredients, with Tramadol and didn't have a problem. To be extra safe, check with your doctor or pharmacist...
