Tramadol (if prescribed by your pets vet) can be administered to cats. It is more common (in animal use) to be prescribed to dogs however. There is a higher chance of side effects (from the medication) in cats, and the doses should be much lower. A maximum of twice daily treatment should be followed. It is important that your cat is weighed prior to being prescribed Tramadol and as much medical history as possible is required, including any medications already given to the cat...
My dog a cavilier king charles spaniel not a big dog about 23 pounds was given a prescription to tramadol 5 mgs and once a night we gave it to her. So it can be administered to dogs cats you should talk to your vet before you give her anything.
Tramadol is given to animals for pain, but you would have to talk with vet to determine dosage.
