How does tramadol affect your blood sugar? I noticed my readings are higher than before?

That's strange because Tramadol is known for lowering blood sugar, sometimes dangerously. Are you on any steroids? That could cause a rise in blood sugar.
I am having this same problem except that I’ve been on tramadol for years - and my sugars just started being high. I think the tramadol may be contributing. Have you found anything else out?
