I was just given Keppra for my mild case of epilepsy I tried taking it at 9pm (I take it once a day at night) my dosage is 250-500 mg so if I need to be fully awake/aware around 8:30am what time at night should I take Keppra so I'm not completely tired the following day?
What time of night is best to take Keppra so your not so exhausted the nest day?

I take 5oomg twice daily and have the same issue with tiredness, I don't know if it makes any difference what time you take it but be sure to take it the same time everyday , or maybe you may be taking to much and may have to have your dosage adjusted. But once the drug is in your system it is best to take it at the same time , as Keppra has quite a few side effects.
I find that when my dr puts me on a new med for my epilepsy I take it as directed and find out how I feel after about 4 days. If too drowsy I check with my dr. I personally would take the Keppra 12 hours before you need to get up the next day. Give it a try and keep your dr updated on what you are doing.
