since beginning Hydroxychloroquine 4-5 months ago, first I did notice excessive hair loss (shedding). Still some BUT now it's worsening Angular Stomatitis with the new appearance of candidal plaques on the buccal mucosa extending to the the inner aspect of my lips/gingiva... really uncomfortable, even after a week+ on conventional treatment... any thoughts!!!

It sounds as though you may be experiencing a rare drug reaction to Plaquenil called an "Oral lichenoid drug eruption."
