I’m 21 and have never had a period in my life. My doctor prescribed be medroxyprogesterone 10 mg to start my period. She seemed to think I could still could get pregnant. Me and my boyfriend had an accident and we both freaked out so I took a Plan B just in case while on my medicines. It’s day 10 the last day of my pill and no period. Do you think Plan B could affect the medroxyprogesterone?
Taking Plan B on medroxyprogesterone?

Plan B is a huge dose of artificial hormone for your body to deal with. It can mess up your menstrual cycle for weeks or months. If you weren't regular with your periods in the beginning, it could well affect you longer than most women who have a regular cycle.
I assume you've done a pregnancy test to be sure. If not, I'd advise ruling that out.
In terms of wanting a regular menstrual cycle, try agnus castus/Vitex. It balances your hormones naturally, & usually helps within a few months.
You can't use it if you're using hormonal birth control, as they'd work against each other.
Do an Internet search on it. It's helped me lots, & others I've seen on here.
It happened less then a week ago idk if a pregnancy will tell that early. I didn’t think I could even get pregnant without a period but since my OB put me on provera to start a period I didn’t know if it was possible. I finished the last pill yesterday and haven’t got my period so I’m assuming maybe the plan b effected the provera. I’m really hoping I’m not pregnant
You don't need a period in order to ovulate (produce an egg), it works the other way around. A period comes after the first ovulation (a proper period. Not just breakthrough bleeding), as it is to flush out the lining of the womb that was waiting for the fertilised egg.
I would give it another week & then do an early detection pregnancy test. Just to be sure it's the Plan B side effects.
Okay thank you so much.
Oh btw I go back November 6th for a checkup with my OB and they are going to do a ultrasound to get a look at my ovaries and uterus to see if that can be affecting my periods so I guess I’ll find out more then too.
Great x
