Currently my wife is having high fever. She was taking tylenol from over the counter. Today after seeing a doc she have been prescribed for fluconazole 150 mg and azithromycin 250 mg. She already took the both the drugs as prescribed few hours ago. But the fever is coming back. Can she take tylenol to reduce it?
While taking fluconazole 150mg TAB can you also take anything with acetaminophen in it like tylenol?

Yes I ran a drug interaction on these medication and it says Tylenol or the generic acetaminophen is okay to take with these other medication. Please remember to always go over your medications with the doctor giving something new. This encludes any other prescription medications, herbal meds, and vitamins.Best to keep a list of everything you or the wife take so you can ask the doctor this everytime you get a prescription drug or they tell you to take something over the counter. Hope the wife is feeling better. And have a nice day Chuck1957. ps also you can call your pharmacist and double check these to.
