I started Trulicity Mon night, today is Thurs. I also take 1000 mg on Metformin. My blood sugars are in the 200-300 range even fasting. I started the .75 dose. Side effects are tolerable.

I started taking Trulicity a week ago, at first I had severe vomiting which has now eased but I have terrible aches and pains. I also suffer with Fibromyalgia which causes a lot of pain but these aches seem more intense than usual.

... as prescribed. Blood sugar is usually in the border line range (up or down) when tested with strips. So, if I am not taking metformin as prescribed and keep my a1c average at 6.4, should I take Trulicity. Doctor prescribed it.

I have an ileostomy. Can I take either Trulicity or Pioglitazone?

With an ileostomy, a lot of fluid is lost every day anyway. Will diarrhea be unmanageable? Since I have no colon, will stomach pains be worse than usual or not as bad?
