my dosage has just been increased, but I have some 25mcg pills left. Is it an equivalent dose to take the 2 pills if the new prescription is for 50mcg synthroid

It says levothyroxine and Synthroid underneath in a lighter text. So am I taking the brand name? I have so many issues, with hair loss and itchy skin. I don't want to be on a generic. I have read a lot of people saying Synthroid is so much better for the side effects.

Does lithium reduce thyroxine production permanently? I am reducing lithium from 900mg (taken 35-40?

I would like to ask a question about the relation between Synthroid dose, and lithium dose.

How can I distinguish hyperthyroidism from hypomania?
