This started about two weeks after starting the drug. The first time I took prednisone which was 5 years ago they gave me quinine for the cramps, but they say it has not been available for a long time. Is there something else that helps?

January 2015 my pain mgmt doc said he can no longer prescribe Soma in Texas. Why? It's the only thing that works!
I have taken somas and other muscle relaxers. I have also taken the normal narcotic pain pills. The muscle relaxers make me sleepy and I don't want to get hooked on pain pills again. So is there any kind of alternative?
It seems that with me, eating either cooked or raw onions prior to sleep will trigger a leg cramp in 4 hours. If I than take two (2) OTC Potassium pills they eventually alieviate the pain.
