Many times a day and quite often in the night (when I turn over especially) I get one or two hiccup spasms. This is often acccompanied with heartburn or may be caused by heartburn. If these short spasms occur while I am eating or talking they will often change to real hiccuping. I am 84years of age.

my boyfriend has this problem that when he swallows he say's that it does not go down all the way and he can feel it. Than he starts to hiccup and literally a bubble comes up with the food that did not even go to his stomach.
