Many times a day and quite often in the night (when I turn over especially) I get one or two hiccup spasms. This is often acccompanied with heartburn or may be caused by heartburn. If these short spasms occur while I am eating or talking they will often change to real hiccuping. I am 84years of age.

What if anything can we do to help him with the chronic hiccups? The thorazine works after 5 days of taking it but only for short periods! The man is exhausted from no sleep and the pain from hiccups... At a loss for what to do?
