I was taking subutex and was decreased down from that to lomotil. Now why is lomotil a controlled substance and why was I given it when my tolerance is something they have never seen before if its a slightest addicting type drug I withdrawal off it like herion?

I stopped using atropine eye drops over 3 weeks ago and pupil still dilated. Should I be alarmed?
