300mg per day is a very low Daily Dose, and so any negative side effects should be well over by the time I answered this. 3000mg is cited by German studies, and it takes 10 to 20 days to work. Assuming you did type the correct Dose, have you explored the possibility of a coincidence and that you have Benign Paroxysmal Vertigo?
Hoping your willingness to use natural medicine is undiminished, I would recommend a Rosemary, Nettle leaf & Peppermint tea and Ginkgo Biloba extract. Together I've found them useful for Vertigo. Don't take Ginkgo on blood thinners.
