I've been on nexplanon since may 2013 I had a period shortly after that because I switched from the pill and a little bit of spotting a few months later but since then nothing. I haven't had a period in 2 years. For the past few months though I've had cramps that are similar to menstrual cramps and breast tenderness. Having terrible health anxiety is nothing new to me and I m constantly worried that I'm pregnant or that I have breast cancer. And yesterday I noticed a brown discharge when I went to the bathroom and now its turning pink. Also my breast are my tender than usual. Could this be my first period or does it sound like something else? I know someone woman after implantation bleeding but I'm not sure.

I’ve been on nexplanon for a year and a half and I’ve spotted almost the whole time I’ve had it. I don’t know if it’s normal but I have a brownish discharge all the time. Every month I’ll stop spotting for like a week.
I've been experiencing the same too. My period was lost for almost 7 months and now I'm getting spottings and occasionally breast tenderness.
My period completely stopped up until I started spotting again. And I just had a period about two weeks ago and I'm having another one now. I was super worried I was pregnant. But it turns out that around 2.5 years on nexplanon your hormones start fluctuating a lot. But eventually you're period will start again. But I guess it's different for each woman.
