I have tried 6 different antidepressants in the last 3 years and none worked. Some just did nothing, some put me in zombie mode and some made me feel as if I had drank 10 expresso’s. For 6 months I have not taken anything , but depression and anxiety has gotten to a all time high, so I knew I needed to try something different to desperately get this controlled. My Doctor prescribed me cymbalta 30mg D, and I took first dose 10 minutes ago. So please feel free to let me know side effects of some and what I should and shouldn’t feel . Thanks in advance.

I’ve been on Cymbalta for 10+ years. I have not noticed any side effects. I take anywhere from 30mgs to 120mgs. I’ve been stable at 60mg lately. It also helps with nerve pain if you have it.
Hi, dnw_ajk!
The most commonly reported side effects include nausea, somnolence, headache, and dizziness:
"Very common (10% or more of users): Nausea (up to 30%)"
"Very common (10% or more of users): Somnolence (up to 21%), headache (up to 18%), dizziness (up to 17%)"
Not all people will experience side effects or they may be mild and transient usually subsiding over just days to a week or so. Also, most of them can be managed with OTC remedies recommended by a pharmacist or your doctor. I hesitate to post this link because many people will "develop"
side effects that they read about. Just keep in mind that only a small number of folks will have them and you certainly won't have all of them. But it's good to be informed so you know what to and what not to expect:
