What are the side effects of sertraline?

Like the majority of people I experienced no side effects from any of my medications including Zoloft (sertraline). People who do generally reported mild and transient effects like headache and nausea that resolved within days to a week or so.
For instance, in clinical studies about 25% of patients experienced nausea but that means 75% of users did not. The "bad" reviews are written by the few folks who had a bad experience but don't take into account the tens of thousands of people who are living happy and healthy lives and don't have time to sit and write reviews.
That being said, you should be prepared if you do have any funny feelings. You should receive a Patient Information sheet along with your script which describes possible side effects. There's also this link:

Don't worry... you won't have them all and it's unlikely that you'll have any serious ones. If you do, talk to your pharmacist who can recommend OTC remedies and report any side effects to your doctor.
Try not to worry and overthink this... your stress and anxiety can cause symptoms all on their own.
