I have had an under active thyroid for 18 years. I have been on Eltroxin up until this year. I was changed to Armour and Eltroxin. I started to feel anxiety and tremors on the Armour and my bloods were still off.
I have now been on Armour fir nearly a week and I feel dead, emotional and tingling in hands and feet. I was told I would feel off for about two weeks. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
Side effects from Armour when you start taking?

Answers
Anxiety and tremors are common in hyperthyroidism, though TSH alone may not be enough to diagnose the problem. Feeling "dead and tingling" is common to hypothyroidism. I have experienced both under other meds which interact by increasing and lowering thyroxine production. But I take Synthroid, which I think is the standard drug.
