I took it for a short while, about a month or two. It made me very tired. I started cutting the pills in half and reducing the dose.
It can cause exhaustion. Without estrogen or bodies get tired fast.
do you have any helpful suggestions to try to work through this? seems like i just want to lay down and sleep. i have a full time job so this is not good.
Yes. Fatigue and joint/muscle pain are the most common side effects most women have. The problem with fatigue, as opposed to just being tired, is that lots rest does not really relieve that feeling of exhaustion. I take the drug at night, just before I go to bed and it seems to help me. I also take daily multi-vitamins and glucosamine supplements, and exercise, as well. I feel fine. I have been taking Anastrozole for 18 months. I have another 3-1/2 years to go. I will complete my treatment because it will give me a better chance at keeping the cancer from returning. I hope you all keep fighting and try different things to help you feel better. Remember, the most important weapon to combat this disease is to have a positive frame of mind.
