I got the injection when I had just finished my period the day before had sex with my other half 2 days later and I'm worried I could be pregnant or was I protected straight away ? I've had light spotting through out since having it and would just like to be reassured

Sorry I can't reassure you, you should have waited a week for unprotected sex, if this is your first shot, and you weren't on any other kind of birth control before getting it. The one thing I can say is bleeding isn't a sign of pregnancy.
I knew bleeding wasn't a sign but I'm so unsure if I am or not. Would taking a pregnancy test come up with a false positive off the injection ? I had it done 2 months ago so would it still effect one ?
