I was on this forum over two years ago as a newbie on sertraline. It helped me enormously over the last 2 1/2 years with the worst period of emotional stress I have ever gone through my whole life. I’ve also now been diagnosed with diabetes (which they think could be linked) and I’m awaiting my secondary care appointment.
I’ve been reduced to 75mg on my request, and the main symptom I’m having is itching specifically the hands? Is that related or is it more likely to be my diabetes? It’s just that the itching has started literally, after a week of reducing my dose from 100 mg.
Has anyone else had this and can you put my mind at rest? Thank you so much

This is my first time on sertraline and new to forum Started slowly at 25 now at 37.5 working towards 50 for anxiety Diabetes can certainly pose a lot of skin issues so that could be a possibility My spouse is diabetic Not aware of sertraline and itching only if initial reaction Sorry I can’t help Also since it’s your hands maybe there was a type of product you used or cleaning product that could be an issue you came in contact with?
