Hi I have recently stopped sertraline after 3 months due to sensitivity firstly I reduced from 100 mg down to 50mg then 25mg over a couple of weeks .I have now stopped them altogether a week ago my joint pain in knees and other areas are considerably worse I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this and how long does it last .I am also feeling extreme tiredness and generally worn out I'd really appreciate if anyone could help . I am trying a little swimming but it's not helping at the minute many thanks for reading my comments

Antidepressants are often a life saver for those with anxiety and depression.
For some people they may experience difficult side effects.
From my own experience tapering needs to be done very careful. No more than 10% withdrawal and then holding until stable. It needs to be done over a period of time and monitored by a health care professional.
I have witnessed many people do this too fast and suffer the consequences.
Thank you for your comments think you are right I reduced to quickly still feeling dreadful joint pain bloated and oral thrush on top of that caught covid although quite mild think that has enhanced my withdrawal symptoms as I'm extremely tired x
