I've been on 50mg for a year but my panic disorder took over and I was increased to 100mg 3 weeks ago. Just this past week we went to 125. I have really good moments and then I crash down again. Passive suicidal thoughts really terrify me. Reading the good reviews is so helpful. Did everyone just feel like one day the bag moments stopped and you were over the side effects and feeling better?

Hi, Grey!
After your dose increases it may take a couple of weeks for the benefits to kick in. It can take 6-8 weeks to become fully effective but anxiety takes longer to respond than when it's prescribed for depression alone.
You're on the "roller coaster" where it is up and down as your body adjusts to the new amount of the medication. Things should start to smooth over for you very soon.
Hang in there! It's a gradual process...
Best regards,
my Dr told me anywhere from 2-10 weeks
