Hi, David!
Some people begin to feel some improvements within the first 2 weeks or so but it can take 4-8 weeks for this medication to become fully effective. Unfortunately, anxiety disorders are harder to treat than depression so it can sometimes take a bit longer.
I wonder what dosage you're taking? If it's a low initial dose you may need to increase it. Everybody responds differently and the range of the therapeutic dosage is generally 50-200mg/day.
If you haven't already you should talk with your doctor and let them know about your lack of progress... get a professional opinion of how you should proceed.
Best regards and I hope you're feeling better soon.
