Hi, Randy!
I'm taking 200mg/day... the max dosage because I'm very resistant to medications like this.
Are you having a problem with your dosage?
Am on 150mg. Since end of July. Have had some good stretches but winter flus have been an Achilles heel. Have been wondering if I should go to 175mg or just let winter run it’s course.
I am very resistant to these meds too
Sertraline has been one I tolerate well.
Despite a flu vaccine I got hit with a new strain that lasted a little over two weeks. I also have Seasonal Affective Disorder that really hits me hard in winter. I just muddle through it all but that's just me because I'm already maxed out on my meds.
You should probably talk with your doctor even if it's a temporary increase to get you through.
Good luck to you and I hope you're feeling better quickly.
Winter is normally fine for me. I don’t mind it. It’s just the flus that rock me.
Did you go to 175mg from 150mg or right to 200mg?
Just seems like an issue of getting over the hump. Was thinking at certain times 175mg might do the trick.
Discuss it with your doctor and get their advice... don't adjust your dose on your own. You may be right about going up to the 175mg even if may be temporary but you want to try to find the lowest dose that's effective for you.
Good luck whatever you decide to do!
Thank you!
