Hi, frazierr! As Martinix says, trazodone is not a scheduled drug or a controlled substance. It's classified as an atypical antidepressant.
Trazodone is an antidepressant, and isn’t a scheduled medication like narcotics are. They are however classified according to their mechanism of action. For example, SSNRI, SSRI, Tricylic, etc.
