I started taking Saxenda 5 weeks ago. I did have nausea for the first couple of weeks and indegestion started after that. I have had to take Zantac daily with Saxenda which got rid of nausea and indegestion. I learned the best time to take the medicine is in the afternoon before eating lunch. It helps suppress my appetite in the evening hours when I tend to eat more. I have lost 10 pounds but could probably lose more if I was exercising and counting calories. When I get my refill my plan is to follow a more reduced calorie diet and start walking.
I am on week 3 ( 1.8 mgs) I have to say I tried taking saxenda in the AM and in the afternoon and at night/evening. So far, I think the best time is between 12-1 personally I am not too tired like when I take my dose in the am. I am not nauseous either and I know its not really a good thing but I forgot to eat yesterday, if my friend didn't ask what did you eat today ? I would have just had the Sorrento snack pack
btw had a little trouble with nausea but if you get otc anti nausea chewables , it completely goes away. Also I am down 10 pounds in almost 3 weeks I have to say this is the only thing that has worked for me and I have tried literally everything. It has its ups and downs and Ive seen some ppl have side effects but they pass anything new takes getting used to if you want it bad enough.
