I recently was asked to try Saxenda at a medical weight loss office I’ve been going to. I have hypothyroidism and currently take armor thyroid. I’m wondering if Saxenda will cause me problems with my tsh levels.
Does Saxenda affect Armor Thyroid meds?

Moderate
thyroid desiccated liraglutide
Applies to: Armour Thyroid (thyroid desiccated), Saxenda (liraglutide)
Thyroid desiccated may interfere with blood glucose control and reduce the effectiveness of liraglutide and other diabetic medications. Monitor your blood sugar levels closely. You may need a dose adjustment of your diabetic medications during and after treatment with thyroid desiccated. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
