I’m on beta blockers and blood thinners because of pacemaker insertion. Have chronic back pain and not sure about taking tramadol because of moderate side effects. Would only want to use it for 11 hour plane trips to help get through the flight.
How safe is tramadol to take with beta blockers and blood thinner meds?

The medication Lixiana (Endoxaban) in the U.S is known as the brand name of Savaysa (Endoxaban).

Regarding your interaction report, I suggest you clarify the potential moderate interactions with your DR., there is only 1 moderate potential interaction of Tramadol with Amlodipine and the other one is with Amlodipine and Bisoprolol:
Moderate meaning:
Moderate Moderately clinically significant. Usually avoid combinations; use it only under special circumstances.
Moderate
amLODIPine traMADol
Applies to: amlodipine, tramadol
AmLODIPine may increase the blood levels and effects of traMADol. This can increase side effects such as nausea, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, lightheadedness, difficulty concentrating, impairment in thinking and judgment, respiratory depression, and low blood pressure. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications. Avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery until you know how the medications affect you. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Thank you for doing this for me. Might avoid taking tramadol, sounds a little risky. Will speak to Dr about alternatives.
Thank you once again.
You are welcome.
Please use the interactions checker here on Drugs.com and consult with your physician. I take tramadol, but not beta blockers or blood thinners.
