I am currently waiting for my next batch of beta blockers to be mailed to me, unfortunately, I got all my pills mixed up. I take my pills from a pill organizer, in the process I left a set of pills in the organizer after finding my organizer and mixed them with my other pills my mistake. Today I check the bottle, and three of the pills, which I don't know where! expired four days ago, it could be possible I've already taken them lol, but I'm not sure if it is safe. I take it once a day at bedtime metoprolol succ. 25mg, It was for anxiety and I can't go without them because I feel terrible when I run out. Might have to take that chance to take one tonight and go to call caremark to give me a bridge.
Is it safe to take beta blockers that expired a few days ago?
