Yes, you should wait that the infection is gone completely before having sex or oral sex, like Dzoo said you can pass it to your spouse. Then you both will need to be treated! Just call the pharmacist and see how long it takes to clear up when you take that med. Have a nice cruise. Well at least there is alot of things to do on there to keep you guys busy.
You should refrain from having sex when you have a vaginal infection. For one thing the infection can be passed back and forth between partners. men may not show symptoms of some infections but they can pass it on to the female he has sexual contact with and vice versa. You should ask your Dr as to when it is safe to have sex again.
