I'll be having surgery to remove my thyroid in a week. I want to know if it safe to take Diflucan now since it remains in your system for a few days.
Is it safe to take Diflucan before a major surgery?

Answers
It is better not to take Diflucan as you are undergoing the surgery in a week. Diflucan interacts with a lot of drugs, so it is better to discuss this with your Physician before taking Diflucan.

Good luck with the surgery. It is amazingly simple.
Best to check with your doctor. We don't know your medical history or other medications you may take.
