Soreness perhaps caused by several medications I take orally for heart problems, etc., etc. Am 83 years old. It is like a rash, and can itch and burn.
Is it safe to use BAG BALM on the skin on the exit area of the anus?

I have used bag balm before. My massage therapist used it on me while massaging me, for aches and pains. Have you read the instructions on it ? My can says it was mainly used on cows utters. Don’t know anything about your problem but if I were you I’d call my dr. before you put ANYTHING on that very sensitive area !!! Good luck

Since this a very personal question; I need to ask you one. Since older adults don’t seem to bathe every day (and I’m not saying you don’t) but this could be symptoms of it ? In any case everyone should clean the private areas every day. Wash them even if you can’t shower or get in the tub. Good luck
