It works so good for me
I took my first dosage last night. I had the eye side effects which made my near sightedness worse and I was walking like I was drunk. Amitriptyline I can't take because it's an anti-depressant and I'm one of those ppl who do crazy stuff on those meds. They are watching me extremely close on this med in case something happens. I'm going thru another custody battle which my ex keeps accusing me of being a drug addict. I already been cleared by dyfs but the ex keeps accusing me and almost every year I'm back at this same point. I swear this man is going to kill me from stress.
Hi, did you experience those side effects that night or the morning after? It is quite common to feel this way when starting out on the medication. I take Seroquel and felt a bit zombie like when i was first introduced to them. It will wear off. How did you sleep?
It started about 30 mins after taking it. Tried it again last night and it makes me sleepy, but not enough and by 1am I take another one. I'm going to call the doc and see if I can take 2 instead of one.
Hi, how did you get on with your doctor?
How much do u take and what do u take it for please let me know
I had to stop taking it stopped working after a week on 1mg. I could take 5mg and still be awake so told my doctor wasnt working.
Hi, Risperdal work in the same way that Seroquel do, so hopefully you will find success with it. I understand how you feel about medications being used off label. I do think that antipsychotics are a very 'strong' alternative to sleeping tablets. You might want to talk to your doctor about Amitriptyline? It is an antidepressant that has been around for many years, and can be used to treat pain and help aid sleep also. I take it for those reasons. The dose can be easily adjusted to the individual person. Worth considering maybe?
