I'm on a low dose - 50mg. I had a brain fart and can't remember if I already took it tonight. Should I just take it and risk doing a double dose since it'd relatively low anyway? Or should I skip it?

Yes listen to Wildcat; best to not double up and one day off won't hurt you

Skip this dose and just be sure to take your next scheduled dose on time. No harm done!
